Mom & Reiki

I'd like to share a story about Reiki and how its helped heal my mom and I. When I was growing up for most of the time, is was just the two of us and as you can imagine, there are a lot of challenges that came to the both of us and to her being a single mom. Without getting too personal, I think its safe to say that we have really been through a lot together, the good, the bad and the really bad.

As I got older I was always searching for some sort of peace and to be honest, early on I wasn't too successful at it. Then I had a friend who was a Reiki Master and she taught me all the levels and attuned me to the Usui Reiki and I eventually became a Reiki Master also. For me, I went through a pretty big emotional clearing, which is typical when getting attuned to any healing modality. Reiki has enabled me to look inside, heal and find some peace. Through the years I have also learned Shamballa, IET and Shamanic Healing.

From receiving Reiki, I have been honored and blessed to also have attuned my mom to Reiki, and she has gone through all the training and is now a Reiki Master herself. Mom has advanced to other healing modalities as well, such as IET and Shamballa and I have also taught and attuned her to those too. To look back to where we were years ago to where we are now is such a miracle in its self. The transformations and the healing that has taken place, have forever changed us. Reiki and all the healing modalities are such a gift to humanity, I'm just glad I have been able to share this with my mom!
